Dolphins up by 6 midway through the first half. Their big guy is 6'10" (Ohio State transfer) and doing well.

Lions up 22-21 with 7:48 left in the first half. Stafford started strong. Some good looking plays by Agnew and King.

Now up by 1. You can tell our guys have played a more physical schedule and are using that mindset to their advantage. Remember that David/Goliath beatdown we got in the first half vs. the Gamecocks? That "teachable moment" seems to be paying dividends already. Nice. Playing Gonzaga and even the ASUN wake up call at UNF, too.

Game looks to be going down to the wire, and has anyone else noticed the Jacksonville stadium looks like a small high school stadium?

UNA hit 12 3's tonight! Agnew and Blackmon were incredible. Had four in double figures (Stafford and Smith).

Can you imagine Agnew and Blackmon in a couple of years, after some time to get stronger, improve on some things, etc.? Unbelievable that those two are freshmen. But on the flip side, props to Stafford and Smith. Our only two D2 guys, yet they are making big contributions for a D1 team. Great leaders.

North Alabama whaled those Dolphins....I know I know...hard to come up with something for Dolphins. We definitely played with a porpoise....ok ok Iām done.
So proud of these guys! I wasnāt sure we would more than 1 game in Conference this year if any? Our confidence against North Florida was at all time low. We shot the ball with confidence tonight, we didnāt play very well on defense, canāt give up so many lay ups? Good coaching point. Free throws at the end were very strong! We get a player at Stafford and Smiths position next year lookout!

Definitely not the same Dolphins of 7 foot 2 Artis Gilmore, 7 foot Pembrook Burrows III, little Vaughn Wedeking,Rex Morgan,a 6-5 guard who averaged 27 per game and 6ā10 Rod McIntyre. They made it to the National Championship game before falling to UCLA like everyone else in the nation for about 11 years. They lost by 11 but the officiating was tremendously one-sided in favor of John Wooden, as always. They were 27-2 that season. The next year they were upset by Western Kentucky in the early rounds of the NCAA and their time in the sun ended. They are no longer even a shadow of old. If dunking had been legal in those days, the Dolphins would have won back to back championships. droppingdimes.org/portfolio-item/artis-gilmore/
