Wallen sisters are really struggling...UNA women getting run out of the gym. Panetti is the only chance of scoring. Emma Wallen needs to come in off the bench. She has zero confidence in her shot. One trip she missed a wide open layup, Panetti rebounded it kicked it to Emma for her for wide open three...brick. Play Madden it Graham to give the team a chance. Tiber should have pressured sooner...we have cut a 10 point lead to 3 and missing free throws

Oh my...Emma hits a three and gets fouled to hit go ahead shot. We rebound and shoot free throws. We came back from 10 down under 2 minutes to play and win! Are you kidding me? We played awful but the press woke the team up. Couple steals and layups and we fought back despite the technical fouls. Crazy to watch after we looked like an overmatched team and then we didnāt?

Maybe that one shot going down will help Emma get her groove back? We have missed her scoring the past couple of weeks. Eubanks made some mid range shots tonight...she needed that too. Ivey didnāt have a single assist thru 3 quarters? That is unheard of for her? I will say Brown from Jacksonville was very impressive...she is strong and has really nice touch on her shot. The press showed our one advantage...small and quick. We should do that more, not just as a last resort...rattled Jacksonville.

Great win by the Lions! I've replayed the ending several times already. It was great to see our men's team sitting behind them and cheering them on. I know they don't get to watch each other a lot and I think it's good for the men to see our ladies hustling and doing their thing. They all had hands up on Emma's attempt and went nuts when she hit it and got fouled.
I'm not sure how you say they were outmatched when it was a back and forth game the entire time. Yes, they did pull away for a few minutes (those technicals didn't help) but that was just about as evenly matched game as you can get. UNA was up for much of the first half. But, give credit to JU. Some great players on that team.
Proud of the ladies and happy to see the men's team taking in that Lion spirit on the court as spectators. It's odd they didn't play on the same night. The only other time that happens this year is the road game at Liberty. The men travel alone coming up soon but the women finish the regular season with a trip up there.

Madden, at least. Glad to see the pressure worked when we needed it.

Agree. Although we did find our way to victory. Teams are really making it hard for Panetti to get on the block. We need to start making some perimeter shots. The press helped to revive and generate an offense that would have to be the low output in the 50ās? Great fight by the Lions to pull out another win. I am sure that left an awful taste in the Dolphins mouth.

What a game! I'm kicking myself that I didn't get to watch it last night. Sure wish that ESPN+ gave you the ability to go back and watch games after the fact. I don't think it allows that, anyway.
Hopefully some of our shooting woes are due to the craziness of the schedule. We have two home games in a row now. Stetson is third in the conference standings at the moment, so that might be a good one Saturday. I'm planning to be there and can't wait. Next Tuesday night we play KSU, and they appear to be one of the weaker teams in the ASUN. After that, on the road at NJIT who may be looking for revenge, and on the road at Lipscomb who may be the worst team in the conference. THEN the big rematch with FGCU at their place. Suffice to say, it would be nice to put together a streak here and win the next four before the trip to Fort Myers.
The men take on Jacksonville tonight. Can they get that first D1 road win?

For example, if UNA women's basketball is a favorite of mine, and I go to that page, why doesn't it show past games? Seems like that would make a whole lot more sense. I just did that on my iPhone, so maybe it's easier on other platforms.

The men match up well tonight....very similar type teams. Our defense has been impressive the last two weeks. We will need that same defense game on the road. Our team makes this road trip with the confidence to win. I will miss the first half due to church. I look forward to coming home and watching the 2nd half. Please post score updates so can check after church. Thanks in advance and

They lead 9-6 at the first media timeout. Nice looking crowd from the camera view.
