Pitt getting some home-cooking on these fouls. No big surprise, but that free throw advantage of theirs... yeesh.

Damn! Had a shot to tie it up with 4 seconds to go.
Keep those heads up, men. Hell of an effort.

Feels great for this club to be taking ACC teams to the wire especially after getting blown out in the GSC tournament last season.

Two comments I heard from the announcers: 1)This game is not supposed to be this close and 2) They just will no go away. At the end, a 3 point and a foul and this well could have been a win. Way to go men's basketball. Keep defying expectations and keep on hanging in there. The Ws are gonna come.

Great game. The last two games tells me that 9th place in the ASun may not happen. I'm thinking more like the 5-6 spot, and an ASun tournament spot.

Team is improving and rebounds well. Too many turnovers equal limited opportunity on offense. We clean those up and we will be in the unit in the ASUN.
Roar Lions!

It’s way too early to know how things will play out of course, but I continue to be impressed with Coach Pujol. Before the season I looked at these last two games and figured we’d lose by 20+ in each one. I still find it hard to believe we had a shot to tie on our final possession. The talent level of this team is so much higher than last year (as well as the coaching, of course). And look how many freshmen are contributing! If we continue to recruit guys like this, we will be a top ASUN team in another year or two. I absolutely believe that.
Moral victories suck, but it’s hard not to be proud of today’s game. I suddenly look at some of the non-conference games ahead and don’t just see a bunch of losses.

Maybe we'll win the ASUN that year and get into a postseason tournament but won't be eligible for the big dance until the following year.

Big Dance is definitely a dream one day. Hope coach Pujol believes this is home for him and his family. He could build quite the legacy at North Alabama. I know our record and how early we are in this young season....but the energy from the program is being felt all the way to California alumni. We need to give Linder his props for making the right hire.

I noticed that Pitt beat Saint Louis by 2 points yesterday. I'm a little surprised with that outcome based on our games with them.
