Women need to use these games to improve and get ready for conference play. Women’s basketball is exciting and Men’s still might be if we get some of walking dead back.

Lions blew out Martin Methodist as we all expected. Lots of play off the bench including freshmen.

Should be all wins if they play to their potential. Agree. Looking ahead, I think the schedule is pretty favorable all the way to conference play. We play in the “NJIT Tournament” in New Jersey on Thanksgiving weekend against Southeast Missouri and Western Carolina. SEMO is predicted middle of the pack in the OVC, but WCU is predicted dead last in the SoCon. We play at Xavier, but they are also predicted last in the Big East. I didn’t look up Mississippi Valley, and I don’t mean them any offense, but I just assume we should be better. The only other game is Martin Methodist, and again, that should be a win. I honestly expect 10-0 or 9-1 heading into January. I know it's "just" women's basketball, but I really hope the people of the Shoals start waking up to how good this team is. They deserve some packed out crowds heading into conference play. Going by the records, which admittedly is not always the best measure, it looks like Florida Gulf Coast will be our biggest threat for a conference championship. They are 9-2. Everyone else has lost at least 5 games. With sixteen conference games left to go, I'd love to see us finish something like 22-4. I certainly think it's doable. If we could finish that strong and maybe at least get to the ASUN championship game, I have no doubt we would have a spot in the women's NIT. I think that would incredible for the program at this point in time. If we can get that kind of momentum going to start in D1, I think recruiting will be a whole lot easier going forward.

Agree. The women are fun to watch, lot of confidence there and chemistry seems to be very good.
