UNA is expected to break the record for highest enrollment in school history, with 7600 students. Story from una.eduThe move to D1 is talked about as being a catalyst for a school to grow. I wonder if we can push all the way up to 10,000 students in the next decade? It would be fun to see. The flip side is, I do believe the campus would have to see some changes. Maybe another parking deck? Especially if a football stadium is built somewhere. More dorms would probably also be needed, and probably some more classroom space - unless a lot of those new students are online, as is mentioned in the article.

Need to build about 3 parking decks if it got that high.

Knowing this was going to happen, it's a shame they didn't build taller buildings and parking decks. The only room UNA has is UP, not sideways.

I have several students going to UNA next fall. 7 out of 9 said that they saw the Division one move as a perk.

If we could get even half the students to come to the games and make noise like most schools, we'd be in business.
