Really cool! I hope this can become a regular thing or every other year thing.
Kind of interesting to think about; with football many think we are taking on the big old booger bear with NDSU and same goes for basketball with Gonzaga. Based on last year, this particular "baseball" out of conference matchup is against a name but not against the old booger bear. The old booger bear(s) are conference games (Stetson, North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast). We may match up very well against Bama.

Someone in Tuscaloosa may read this and try to get a state mandate saying we can't play sports anymore. Seriously though, I bet the SEC tried everything in their power to get the whole conference into the regionals this year. I was the only person glad a SEC team didn't win the CWS this year, just because if they go by previous year debates for next year, who will they leave out for a SEC team to get in? Probably the 3rd or 4th best ASun team. I know it will not be us, but it's nice to know our conference would have a better shot. That being said, with Liberty, don't be surprised if the A-Sun gets 3 or 4 in on a regular basis from now on.

Don't want to be UABd. 😱 😄 I think our conference could well be one of the best out there when it comes to baseball.

It would be nice to eventually get a deal with Vandy where they would come down here once every two or three years since it's just a hop, skip and a jump from West End.

I think this could well happen if the ASun brand becomes recognized as a premier baseball conference. I know Power 5's rule the roost in football but that doesn't have to be the case in baseball.

We will have big names in Florence soon. Baseball don't do the not travel to the little guy deal football does.

Sounds like we play Stetson at home this year. That will be fun to go watch.
