I think we are just using that game as a barometer. (With money attached)
This or Montana is a game i would like to see as a home and home every year, like a national rivalry.
USC-ND type thing.

NDSU fan here. Hopefully many of you can make it to the game next year. It’s a unique venue and experience in college football. If anyone has questions about travel, Fargo, or the game, fire away. m.youtube.com/watch?v=nIqTcbDq088

How, in your opinion, does this compare to the Alerus Center at UND? We played there back in 2003. I know the Fargodome is bigger.

We have capped season tickets sales at 12k, and the AD has said the waiting list is over 10k. Most of the remaining tickets are allocated to students, band, players/coaches families, and visitors section. The atmosphere and closeness of the stands to the field are probably the main differences. The stands start very close to the field and are extremely steep, so almost every seat seems to be on top of the field. The level of noise is quite high due to that closeness and the entire building being made of hard surfaces that reflect sound.

Please feel free to check in from time to time and talk Bison, and FCS ball with us.

After what happened this past season, we're trying not to use that six letter, four letter word starting with an i and ending in y.

Dang. Yeah, UNA had this happen where they couldn't play an actual spring game. But, those guys will be fine and dominating by fall.

Welcome to the FCS UNA! Much respect for your storied program, and am hoping you guys do well at this level. We need more teams like UNA who have a history of winning.
Looking forward to watching your game at the Fargodome... should be fun to see how you guys measure up.

Looking forward to watching your game at the Fargodome... should be fun to see how you guys measure up. We are excited as well. (As excited as you can be to travel to Fargo to get beat) but it will show us exactly how far away the program is from where we need to be. And same here, much respect for the Bison program, we need more of that level competition in FCS.

Did not turn out so well for us then. Looking forward to renewing the acquaintance with NDSU hoping for a better result sometime in the future. I expect this year will be more of a learning experience but maybe we can catch up by the time you folks are trying for your second streak of 4 Nattys in a row. Looking forward to the adventure and hoping for a more robust Big South as time goes by. There is potential there.

Agreed... with you guys joining CSU and KSU in the Big South, it could become the conference in the South. Since Georgia Southern and App State left the Southern Conference, I haven't been overly impressed with what is left -- we dismantled their champion last year, Wofford, in the playoffs.

Monmouth (if they stay) is getting better every year as well. Hampton is pretty strong, but it's kinda hard to judge a hbcu that had been in a hbcu conference. They should make the Big South a bit stronger?
