He really a WR... Daniel's was our actual starter and broke his leg playing Tarleton, wasn't really a consistent run game after that. I strongly feel we would have won a few more games if that injury wouldn't have happened. But who really knows. Hopefully we get someone to complement Moody and Daniel's.

It will be good for you if Daniels gets healthy and stays.

Moody should be the main back next year with Daniels helping with that speed. I expect we bring in 2 backs, one bigger back to help with short yardage. Lacey would be solid back in the slot position. Hoping we land couple of impact olineman and linebackers too. Should know a lot more in couple of weeks.

Speaking of bigger back, I like the fact that Dearmon isn't afraid to put the QB under center and have a FB sometimes... We can do all the RPOs we want but he will still use conventional sets...I love it. It should make for good recruiting tool as well. Maybe he can throw in some Wing T or veer every now and again...lol

It's the new reality I guess, but I don't understand why a guy who's starting would want to transfer. Whether he's at RB or WR next year, he would certainly have a role in the offense.
Maybe he can be recruited back, but the article made it sound like a pretty definite thing. Oh well. IF that's the only other portal entry we have, I'll probably still breathe a sigh of relief.
Has anybody heard how Daniels' recovery is going? Is there a chance he returns next year, at 100% health? I know breaks CAN be quicker to heal from than ligament injuries sometimes, depending on whether it was a clean break or not.

Whether it's an H-back or a Fullback, or whatever you want to call it in the backfield with the RB, it allows for a ton of flexibility. And having a lead blocker is NEVER a bad thing!

I grew up with the I... well a combo of I and single back.

Daniels mom tweeted during the UNA/Florida State game that her son would be back with the Lions next year. Hoping his rehab is going well. Guess we will know more come spring practices.

I saw a late season tweet from him where he said he felt he let the team down. Of course, his friends and family told him he didn’t and encouraged his recovery. He was next level in those first few games and then that horrible injury. Still makes me sick. I pray for full recovery, football or not.
