Please pray for a friend that recently let me know he has cancer. You all have benefited from his loyalty to the North Alabama Lions. He is a class act. Please lift him and his family up in your daily prayers, he appreciates it. Thanks and Roar Lions!

This is terrible news. Was he recently diagnosed ? Or was this an ongoing issue ? I always enjoyed his twitter feed during the games.

He had been sick, he did not tell me about cancer until about a month ago. I do not think he knew for long. It was very aggressive, in the brain, liver, and chest wall. He was such a professional and truly loved North Alabama. Sad.

From what I was just told, we need prayers for another UNA man today. I am not allowed to name names because of him being a minor, but a great UNA running back from the past has a 14 year old son in football camp and the son apparently had a heart attack today while in camp. Last I heard is they air lifted him to Huntsville.

Update, and for those who may not have heard who it was, Kenyatta Jones's son Kennan collapsed at football workouts for Shoals Christian the other day and was airlifted to Huntsville, he has been transported to Children's hospital in Birmingham were they are working to find out the cause of his condition. Praying he will make a full recovery.

Kenyatta’s son is breathing on his own and was talking as of yesterday. No news so far today.

Good to see the turnout for Jeff McIntyre’s service today. Former coaches, current coaches and UNA administrative were there today for support. We all were truly fortunate enough to either have met or experienced Jeff through our common interests. Continue to pray for the family.
